Join us
for an evening of color blending and spinning. We will discuss color theory and
then jump in, blending colors and spinning them up to see what effects we can
get. We will come back together at the end of the evening to show off our mixes.
Packets of 1 ΒΌ oz of red, blue, yellow, black and white wool will be available
for a materials fee of $2.
Bring:
$2, if you
want the packet of fiber the evening lesson is based

Your hand
cards, if you have them
Your
spinning wheel or drop spindle
Scotch
tape
A pencil
or pen
Please
bring some extra hand cards, if you have them. A drum carder will be available
for those who need it. Also, if you do not want to participate in the color
blending, feel free to bring your wheel or spindle and just spin and listen (or
help others!)
Alpaca for our exchange
will also be available for sale at the beginning of the meeting. Please remember
to add 2 oz. of your own fiber and place it and the alpaca in a non-see-through
bag before the exchange. At the end of the evening, we will collect the bags and
draw for the first part of the exchange.
